What We Do

UV Flatbed Printing

UV flatbed printing employs a unique ink made of acrylic monomers. When the UV ink is applied to a substrate, it is almost immediately exposed to ultraviolet light. This light instantly cures or dries the ink, ensuring a permanent image. As the UV ink has minimal time to spread out or bleed into the substrate, this process yields impressively accurate colour details with minimal image loss.

The cured UV ink hardens to a strong finish that is resistant to fading and weathering, depending on the surface printed upon, contributing to the print’s durability.

Using the latest UV Flatbed Printing technology we can produce a huge range of Signs, displays, and advertising products at exceptional quality.

Screenprint

Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design.

We still use this traditional printing process to manufacture plastic hydrant plates for several fire brigades throughout the UK.
